My Project (Part 1)

This week I tried to photograph architecture and capture it in different ways. This week was really about seeing what worked and didn't work. Enjoy!

  1. Maria, I like your idea and your approach this week! I like how every photo has a nice blue sky. Since you idea is to take buildings, its architecture and its different ways, I think you should take the photo and rotate the image to look more interesting and abstract. Good job!

  2. This is a really cool set Maria! Good job. I like all the vibrant colors and different angles of the buildings. All the images come together with the cohesive element of the blue sky. I like the way you approached this idea, by taking images of the same subjects in different ways. Keep up the good work!

  4. Hey mariaa I really like your third picture. i like how the building is kind of crooked. This is a good idea and youu should continue on in this series for next time. Maybe you could experiment with the colors of the sky too.

  5. I love your series topic and photos Maria! They're super fun, bright, and interesting to look at. I really like how you were experimenting with different angles and aspects of architecture. I also love the editing you did, I think it really helps brighten the picture positively and bring out all the angles, features, and characteristics of the architecture. The colors your found really popped too. I think for the next set, you could try to focus on a kind of architecture. Seems like most of your photos go towards more angles and have a modern feel to it--I'd follow that!

  6. This is an awesome topic, Maria! I love how your photographs turned out this week, definitely one of your strongest sets! The buildings against the blank sky really stand out. I can't wait to see where you go with this.
